Wind and Hydro Training
Skillbuild’s Renewable Energy Engineer, Diggaj Regmi, delivering training in Wind and Hydro Energy to our Stand-Alone Power Systems class last weekend.
Two students in the class are working on Hydro Turbines so they were particularly interested in Diggaj’ s class. Diggaj did an Electrical Engineering Degree focusing on Hydro Generation, so he is a valuable member of our Training Staff.
Grid Connect with Battery Storage Course
This three-day course is for those people who have done the Grid Connect with Battery Storage Course and want to obtain their SPS Accreditation. The course focuses on the following;
- Wind, Hydro and Generators as sources of power in SPS Systems
- Load assessments
- Energy efficiency – buildings and appliances
- SPS configurations and differences with GCBS systems
- Designing Stand Alone Power Systems
- Practical – wire SPS Systems
